Once your vehicle has embarked on its journey from Japan, rest assured that you’ll receive a comprehensive Bill of Lading. This document contains valuable details such as the specific vessel responsible for transporting your prized possession, the BL number, and much more. With this vital information at your fingertips, you can effortlessly track the whereabouts of your vehicle online at any given moment. As an alternative, our dedicated team will provide you with regular updates regarding the current position of your cherished ride. The cost can vary widely depending on the shipping company we used for shipment (Different shipping companies have different shipping rates), port of loading and port of discharge, diamentions of the vehicle, shipping method (Containerized shipment or RoRo shipment), and other factors.
Typically, you will need proof of purchase (An Invoice from exporter), Export Certificate from Japan (Same as Title of Vehicle in USA), Bill of Lading (Issued by the shipping company, used to ship the vehicle), and possibly other documentation depending on your country’s import regulations.
Shipping times can vary depending on where we purchased your vehicle from. If purchased from an auction house then it takes approximately 10 days to receive documents from Auction House (Time period may vary from auction house to auction house), after receiving documents from auction house, booking of vehicle is done. All this process takes from 20 to 35 days depends on space availability in ship and vessel departure date. Ocean transit time is 30 to 45 days to USA/ Canada (Mat vatu from shipping line to shipping line).
In USA you can import 25 years or older JDM Cars and in Canada you can import 15 Years or older cars without any issue.
